A three bedroom house with a pool 1.5 miles from Sonoma’s town square. This property is in the heart of Sonoma wine country and just 1 hour from San Francisco. Since purchasing the place in 2014, we’ve generated a 60% annual return on investment from cash returns and equity appreciation. Plus we get to use the place!
Kauai Cottage with Plunge Pool
We love Hawaii and Kauai is our favorite island. Our cottage is in the countryside near Kapa’a and has grandfathered in (and rare) TVR permit that allows short term rentals. The cottage feels like you’re in a botanical garden but it’s just 10 minutes to the beach and the best restaurants on the island.
We purchased the cottage in 2019 and renovated it. The previous owner had a 95% occupancy rate from the property. Our return on investment on this property has yet to be determined, but we’ve greatly enjoyed using it so far!
Spectacular Earthship in Taos
This Earthship home is luxuriously off-the-grid, with solar power, water harvesting, integrated greenhouse & expansive glass offering views of mountains & star filled nights. We purchased the cottage near beautiful Taos, New Mexico “turn-key” in 2020 and the previous owner had an 87% occupancy rate.
Mt. Hood Ski Cabin in the Woods
Just one hour driving distance from Portland, this classic cabin in the woods is located in Rhododendron, Oregon. The area is know for its natural beauty, skiing, and stylish rental cabins. We purchased the cabin in November 2020. The prior owner managed the cabin using a property manager, who we continued to use for a couple of months until their bookings were completed. In February 2021 we brought it under our own management.
Yosemite Cottage
Located in Oakhurst, CA near Yosemite National Park and Bass Lake. Purchased June 2021, launched on September 2021.
Mountain Cottage on a Pond near Asheville
Located between Asheville, North Carolina and Lake Lure, this little cottage sits overlooking a tranquil pond in the the Blue Ridge Mountains. Purchased August 2021.
